CEREAL BARS

Ingredients:

  • 450gr  tahini
  • 200gr honey
  • 200gr dark chocolate couverture in pieces
  • 150gr various dried nuts EK FYSEWS (such as almonds raw, walnuts, hazelnuts)
  • 150gr cereals
  • 200gr oats
  • 80gr cranberries EK FYSEWS

 

METHOD: Heat the honey in the microwave oven for 30 seconds. Mix tahini with honey in a large bowl. Be careful not to mix it very much so as the mixture not be too tightened. Melt the chocolate in a bowl with a membrane on top in microwaves at 800watts or in a bain-marieMix chocolate into the tahini-honey mixture. Finally add the oats, dried nuts and cranberries and mix well with a spatula (Maryse). Pour also the cereals and continue stirring manually. Put wax-paper in a pan 20x30cm. Spread the mixture, add a few more cereals from above, close the membrane on top and leave it in the refrigerator so as to tighten for about 3-4 hours. Cut into 20 equal pieces 5cm thick and serve.
